The Liffey Descent 2013 will be held on 28th September starting at 12 noon. Follow the canoeists as they navigate the weirs along the river Liffey in the 2012 descent.

Since 1959 the Liffey Descent has been an almost annual event on the River Liffey, and has become of the most exciting events in the canoeing world calendar.

The canoe race starts up river of Straffan and continues for 28 kilometres to Island Bridge.
