The Pinnacles are limestone formations within Nambung National Park. The origin of the Pinnacles is still open to conjecture and it seems many have opposing views. Whatever their origin they are well worth visiting.

The Francois Peron National Park is on the Peron Peninsula about 700km north of Perth. The park is named after Francois Peron who was a zoologist on the 1801 and 1803 scientific expeditions.
